This years' Championships will be hosted by the Sunshine Coast Indoor Rowing Club and O2 Performance on the 9th of June and held at O2 Performance, The Sports Hub in Bokarina on the Sunshine Coast.
This is also an excellent opportunity for competitors to check out the amazing O2 Performance, which is probably the best gym in Australia. A number of top athletes have said it's better than the AIS in Canberra. The age groups for the QLD Indoor Rowing Championships go from Under 10 to 90+. So, young people can compete in the same QLD Championships as their parents and/or grandparents. Para events are included. The Schools’ Challenge is an important part of the QLD Indoor Rowing Championships. A School team can consist of 2 boys and 2 girls, 3 girls and 1 boy or 4 girls. Schools can have more than 1 team. Points will be counted from any 3 of the 5 individual events and the relay. In the relay each person must row 300m. The Schools’ Challenge was won by:
